Direct dan Indirect

          Cara mengubah kalimat Direct menjadi indirect
            
1. Present tense (direct) menjadi Past tense (indirect)
ex : present tense ( S + V e/es +O) => Rita said, " I do the home work today" menjadi
  past tense ( S + V2+ O ) => Rita    said that she did the homework that day

2. Past tense (direct) menjadi Past perfict (indirect)
ex : past tense ( S + V2+ O ) => Rita said, I did the home work." menjadi
past perfect (S + had + V3 + O) => Rita said that she had done the home work

3. Present perfect (direct) menjadi past perfect (indirect)
ex : Present perfect (S + have/has + V3 + O) => Rita said," I have done the home work".
menjadi Past perfect (S + had + V3 + O) => Rita said that she had done home work

4. [direct] Present continous ( S + tobe + Ving + O) => Rita said," im doing the homework".
menjadi [indiret] past contious (S + was/were + Ving + O) => Rita said that she was doing the homework.

5.[derect] Past contious (S + were + Ving + O) => Rita said," I was doing the homework".
menjadi [indirect] Past perfect continous (S + had been + Ving + O) => Rita said that she had been doing the homework.

6.[direct] Present perfect continous (S+ has/have +Ving +O) => Rita said," i have been doing the homework". menjadi
[indirect]  past perfecf continous (S + had been + Ving + O) => Rita said that she had been doing the homework.

7. [derect] Present modal (S + modal present +V1+O) => Rita said," I can/will/must/may/shall do the homework". menjadi
[indirect] past modal ( S + modal past+ V1+O) => Rita said that she could/would/had to/might/should do the homework
